How much gas does a gas station hold?
Gas stations hold anywhere from 12,000 to 24,000 gallons of 87 and 91 octane per station. 89 octane is made of a blend of 87 and 91 octane. It blends as you are pumping gas into your car.
Unlimited First Class Air Travel for Life
In the 1980s, American Airlines needed money, so they decided to start selling passes for unlimited first-class air travel for life. At the time the passes sold for $250,000 (around $600,000 right now). Mark Cuban bought one of these tickets when he sold his first company, (MicroSolutions) for $6 million. In 1994 American Airlines stopped selling the passes, but they did offer it again in 2004 for $3 million dollars each. None of them sold.

TIL – Brazil’s Capitals
Today I learned that Brazil has had three capitals. First was Salvador (1549-1763), second was Rio de Janeiro (1763-1960), third and current capital is Brasilia (1960-current).

Today I Learned that the word “Scaramouche” from Queen’s song, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ is a stock clown character from the commedia dell’arte (comic theatrical arts of Italian literature.) The role combines characteristics of the zanni (servant) and the capitano (masked henchmen). Usually attired in black Spanish dress he was often beaten by Harlequin for his boasting and cowardice.
